All fees exclude taxes (GST or HST will be added as applicable in your province).
Fees for initial certification and renewal applications are set annually and include a $125 non-refundable administrative fee.
In addition to the regular application exam fee, there is an additional exam-writing appointment fee. This fee is paid directly to ProctorU or Meazure Learning at the time of booking.
Reimbursement of fees
You will receive a full reimbursement of your application fee if you are deemed ineligible due to lack of nursing practice hours and/or continuous learning hours.
If you withdraw your application after you are deemed eligible, your application fee will be reimbursed, minus the $125 non-refundable administrative fee. See our withdrawal policy for details.
Any payment made by a third party will be refunded to the third party.
For a refund on your exam-writing appointment fee, you must contact ProctorU or Meazure Learning to cancel your exam at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Renewal by continuous learning — late applicants
If you missed the renewal deadline, late applications will be accepted the following calendar year until the renewal by continuous learning deadline in December. An additional fee of $99 plus applicable taxes will apply.
Late application process:
- Complete the renewal application.
- Pay additional late renewal fee
- Watch for an email confirming your renewal has been accepted. You will receive this within three weeks of your application.
Your certification will be valid for the five calendar years after it initially expired.
Additional late fees
If you withdraw your application after the first day of the exam writing window, you will be charged a $95 late withdrawal fee in addition to the $125 non-refundable administrative fee.
