CNA Experience Survey (2026)

CNA Experience Survey (2026)

Help shape the future of CNA membership and nursing in Canada

CNA is inviting nurses and nursing students across Canada — whether or not you are a member —to share their experiences, needs and priorities. Your feedback directly informs how CNA develops professional supports, credentialing centre services, lifelong learning programs, communities, advocacy priorities, and future membership offerings that are relevant and meaningful to the profession.

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous.

Who should complete this survey?

We welcome responses from:

  • CNA members
  • Non-members
  • Nursing students
  • Educators and faculty
  • Nurses in all roles and practice settings
  • Internationally educated nurses (IENs)
  • Retired nurses

If you are part of the nursing profession in Canada, your voice belongs in this survey.

How CNA will use your feedback

Your input will directly inform CNA’s work to:

  • Improve current member benefits and develop new high-value offerings
  • Strengthen membership growth and retention initiatives
  • Expand community and networking opportunities
  • Enhance learning opportunities, credentialing centre services and supports, and professional development priorities
  • Shape national advocacy priorities
  • Improve the member journey, onboarding experience, and communications
  • Guide CNA projects and improvements throughout 2026
  • Strengthen CNA’s national and global leadership role, including engagement in international nursing initiatives through the International Council of Nurses (ICN)

We will use this survey as the foundation for a recurring insights cycle, so CNA can track trends, benchmark feedback over time, and report regularly on what we’re hearing and how we’re responding.
