Nurses have a moral and ethical obligation to advocate for health and well-being on behalf of individual clients and for social justice on a broader level
This principle is true whether in social work, nursing, medicine, or other sectors...In turn, advocating for equity within the social determinants of health can help mitigate the intrusiveness of the foster care system
