Will the Supreme Court strike down the laws banning assisted suicide?

In Canada, public support for the decriminalization of assisted suicide is increasing, although assisted suicide remains prohibited under Canada’s Criminal Code. That may soon change and, as patients’ advocates, nurses need to know and understand their roles and current laws relevant to treatment and end-of-life care.
